Mold and mildew are tiny little creatures, and they love wet surfaces in your house so they can make your life miserable. Molds are everywhere, and mold spores are in the air all around us. If you want to grow some mold in your house and are wondering what kind of environment they prefer, here is the list:

-- Keep it moist, but not submerged

-- Keep temperature between 60 and 80F
-- Feed it. It likes lots of things, including silk, cotton, wood and the paper
backing of drywall.
Of course, it you want to keep mold and mildew away you should provide as few
of these pleasures as you can...especially moisture.
